So when I was in primary school, my learning had been disrupted significantly. This was due to many family problems at home such as parents divorcing. This had lead to my mum being a single parent and moving house to house which meant I also moved to several different types of schools. The lack of stability had affected my self concept and in turn affected my ability to learn.
I think me always being the new student in the room and never settling down made me into a very shy and timid girl as I never had the chance to actually bond with anyone, and never had the courage to take part in class discussion, because I never felt comfortable around anyone and would get anxious when socialising with others. This prevented me from progressing.
